HCARA Networking

We all needed some help planning our careers. The HCARA helps connect Holy Cross rowing alumni with current student-athletes to prepare for and achieve their professional aspirations after Holy Cross.  For alumni, this is a great way to stay connected with Holy Cross rowing, have a meaningful impact on a student, and maybe even help fill a job opening in your organization.  Here are a few of the opportunities for alumni to get involved:

The HC Network

The HC Network: The HC Network is an application launched in the summer of 2019 by the Career Development Office that is similar to Linked In in its networking functions and capabilities.  It takes the place of the HC Career Advisory Network which many of you may recognize.   Within The HC Network, The HCARA has our own “Group” called the “HC Alumni Rowing Affinity Network.”  As an alumnus, you can enter your profile (importable from Linked In, for your convenience) and then request membership to HCARA Group.   Once in the HCARA Group, any rower can search through our alumni and “connect” with one of us.  There are instructions and protocols posted in the application to help with networking expectations.  Click here to set up your HC Network profile:

The Holy Cross Alumni Rowing Association group on LinkedIn is a great place to find out what fellow rowing alumni are doing today, as well as to obtain information on current students and young alumni seeking employment opportunities

Informal Networking

Meet and mingle with members of the rowing program after regattas and alumni events around the fall and winter homecomings. Look for communications through our newsletter (please sign up through our homepage) for details of these events.
